Two musical instruments, two collabs and a seven month journey
Grab a coffee and join me for a story..
Hi!
How are you?
I’m doing good. Going through a lot of changes and new beginnings in my life now, so it’s a mixture of happiness, excitement and some healthy fear:)
I wanted to share two new pieces which or on auction now at the Bitcoin Conference in Miami Beach.
I’ve collaborated with two extremely talented and interesting luthiers, who are both creating and reviving a musical culture that was almost lost in the region of Catalonia, Valencia and the Balearic Islands in Spain.
We created a Mallorcan Xeremía, the local version of a bagpipe and a tamborì, a local drum. These instruments have been used for centuries in festivals in the region. The versions we made have a Bitcoin twist to them, which I embroidered on to the xeremía and painted on the tamborì.
So grab a coffee and join me for the full story of these pieces, what they’re about and how they came to be : Heralds of the change, the story..
If you prefer the Twitter thread format: Heralds of the change Twitter thread

Let me know what you think and if you have any special stories about music in your life!
Have a great weekend!
